reCJD is a minimalist, faithful reMAKE of Matthew Eder's CJD, exploring the titular disease and its wasting away of life, soul, and mind. Made using minimalist effects and techniques from older caretaker fan projects, it's a rather vintage and raw experience.

Side A
The beginning of the end. Unnoticable tremors and memory loss begin as the brain starts to atrophy.

Side B
Mood changes and depression seep in as proteins continue to misfold.

Side C
As atrophy grows exponential, memories start to fade from the subconscious - more effort is needed to remember.

Side D
Hallucinations and myoclonus lead to much lower overall quality of life as the brain continues to crumble.

Side E
Thoughts reverberate back and forth repeating ad infinitum. Only minute fragments of clear ideas are left to repeat endlessly until everything falls away.
